Often, Technical Apps deals with engineers who know exactly what they need for their product.  However, they often do not have the resources or time to cover all the needed development on their product.

One such case of  working "hand in glove" with an inventor and engineer was the needed electrical and mechanical expertise behind a cutting-edge "fully-responsive and non-predictable"  target system developed by Targetbotics.

Targetbotics uses their technologies for indoor and outdoor firing ranges around the world, used for police, security and military training.

Unlike typical range targets, which can be slow to present and have a "one-hit" knock down limitation, Targetbotics introduced a dynamic enhancement that provides a series of targets, giving more reality to target selection in a live fire scenario. Targets rapidly and unpredictably spring in and out of sight,  and have programmable pre-set difficulties to achieve an "eliminate threat" scenario.  For example, allocating multiple hits to knock down, or presenting multiple targets at once.

This system, simulates more of the nature of a live fire scenario, with the targets behaving in more of an erratic, unpredictable and evasive manor.

The challenge for Technical Apps was to work on refining all of the moving parts to withstand all outside climatic elements, provide a user interface to set levels of difficulty, to make the mechanics to respond with precision and lightning fast speed... and finally... to make it all bulletproof!

Aside from the dynamic programed responsive target plates, work was also undertaken on indoor systems, with more conventional side-rotating targets, enhancing conventional indoor range moving targets.

Today, many professionals in the military and police are able to be trained to a higher standard due to the system's challenging dynamics, better preparing those training to handle the pressure, unpredictability and split-second target opportunities.
